Given the numerous layers and paint curing time between each coat, this piece took 3 weeks to complete. Additionally, it took 1 week to apply 8 coats of archival gloss varnish (Golden MSA Archival Gloss Varnish) for a thick, glossy finish that is easy to clean and won't yellow over time.
